Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability:

These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements. By placing an order or accepting an offer, you accept the terms and conditions described in this document. These conditions can be waived only after CanvasCamp’s written approval. By validating your order, you acknowledge to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. Note that these terms and conditions do not affect the consumer‘s statutory rights under the Belgian law (or the sales agreement). When visiting our website, you are to observe the general conditions and any other rules of use of the website.

2. Place an order:

There are three possible ways to place an order:
* over the Internet: on the website, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
* per e-mail, 24/7;
* in our showroom: Industriepark 16, B9031 Drongen (Belgium).

3. Prices and payment methods:

The prices of our products are indicated in euros, VAT included. Delivery costs have not been included in the prices indicated on the website. They depend on the weight and size of the desired product and are mentioned on the ‘Shipping’ page. The order must be paid up front. Although we have the right to change our prices at any time, you will be charged the price listed at the time you place your order. We will process your order after we have received your payment.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • in cash: when you collect your order at the showroom
  • with PayPal: on using Visa or MasterCard: pay the amount to

Whenever you pay online, we offer you the possibility to use PayPal, the biggest and safest cost-free platform for paying your orders. This platform processes your financial information without disclosing it to CanvasCamp. You immediately receive a payment confirmation. After your payment has been verified, you will automatically be redirected to the CanvasCamp website. For more information on PayPal and its buyer protection policy, go to PayPal offers you the possibility to safely transfer any amount of money without delaying the delivery of any ordered products, as our bank contacts us immediately after having received your payment.

4. Stock:

The products on our website can be purchased as long as they are in stock. Even though the website has been carefully revised and it is frequently updated, it may occur that some products are temporarily not available. If a product is temporarily sold out or unavailable, you will be contacted by e-mail or telephone within 2 working days after you place your order.

5. Delivery:

The goods are dispatched to the address you provide us with. Please ensure that there is someone at the delivery address who can sign for the package. The goods are delivered in accordance with the Belgian distance selling regulations. In normal circumstances, the goods purchased are delivered within 15 working days after we receive your payment (in the BeNeLux, delivery takes only 2 to 4 working days). Delivery can take 30 working days at the utmost. After 30 working days, the client will be informed about the delay and they will be offered the possibility to cancel their order. In no circumstance will CanvasCamp reimburse additional costs or pay damages.

6. Warranty and after sales service:

At the time of delivery, please check whether the delivered products correspond with your order. If not so, please decline the goods and/ or inform us about the situation as soon as possible, within 8 days after delivery.

We ensure you that every product delivered by us meets the general quality and usability standards. Delivered products carry a one year warranty which starts immediately after delivery. Please immediately notify us by e-mail when problems may arise with any of our products and our Customer Service Team will contact you within two working days. If you call on the warranty, you are liable for any return costs of the faulty goods. All costs arising from the delivery of the repaired products will be at CanvasCamp’s expense, only if the delivery address is located in Western Europe. Note: The warranty only applies to production errors (for instance with respect to stitches and waterproofing) when using and maintaining the product as indicated, not to mould or damage caused by abnormal weather conditions or wear and tear. Moreover, the warranty does not apply in the following cases; if the product has been modified, including corrections made without CanvasCamp’s permission, if the original receipt/ invoice cannot be presented, if the product has been damaged on purpose, or as a consequence of negligence or bad maintenance. Please send us a copy of the invoice or the receipt if you wish to repair or exchange a purchased good.

7. The right of cancellation in case of distance selling:

As a customer, you have the right to cancel a purchase without having to provide a justified reason within fourteen days after reception of the delivery. The right of cancellation can only be called upon if the purchased products are returned in an undamaged, unused state, they are complete and are still in the original package. Please send us a copy of the invoice or the receipt if you wish to return a purchased good. The products will be returned at the customer’s expense. After we have received the goods in a perfect state, we will reimburse you of the purchase costs, with the exclusion of shipping fees and PayPal costs, if any.

Goods which have been manufactured to the customer’s specifications are not returnable.

8. Exclusion of liability:

The content of this website has been carefully selected. However, all offers, images and prices are liable to changes, typographical errors and scanning errors. 

The items ordered are insured during delivery when delivering within Europe, Japan, the US, Australia and New Zealand. To any other countries, dispatch is Ex Works, which implies that we cannot be held liable for any difficulties or additional expenses incurred during or after delivery. 

9. Private data:

Private data of our customers are processed exclusively in accordance with our Privacy Policy. That type of information is exclusively used to close deals with our customers and is in no circumstances disclosed to other parties.

10. In the case of loss or non-delivery:

Although we cannot be held liable for undelivered goods, we commit ourselves to insure every dispatched good. Consequently, both the purchase and delivery of our goods are completely insured (with the exception of purchases delivered to countries to which we ship Ex Works, viz. section 8: 'Exclusion of liability').

No sooner than 5 days after dispatch do we start an investigation into the delivery company. We will send you identical goods after it has been officially confirmed that the goods have been lost. Both delivery and purchase costs are to CanvasCamp’s expense.

11. Applicable law/ courts with jurisdiction:

In case of dispute, the Belgian law is to be applied and the district courts of Ghent will have jurisdiction.
